Express Service

We aim to dispatch orders within the following time scales:

Banners & Self Adhesives – within 2 working days
Double Sided Banners, Rigid Signage, Correx, Banner Stands – check before placing your order if you need these in a hurry. Depending on print schedules/stock these are dispatched within 2-4 working days

Should you require your order quicker than this, then please contact us. Where possible, we can allow your order to ‘queue jump’ and be dispatched quicker. However, we do charge a £25.00 surcharge for this service (per order). This ‘express service’ guarantees that your banner will be dispatched on a date agreed between you and BVB. This service in no way guarantees delivery on a particular date. BVB are in no way liable for late deliveries cause by couriers.

Delivery

We will aim to dispatch your order within the time scale agreed during the proofing process. Any order damaged in transit must be reported immediately by signing the delivery note “Damaged on arrival” and returning it to us within 5 working days; any damaged goods must be retained by you for inspection. If the delivery note is signed without the comment “Damaged on arrival” we cannot be held responsible for damages in transit.

You will need to inspect your order immediately on delivery and if there are shortages or any problems at all with the order, you need to notify us within 24hrs after the time of delivery.

Our £12.50 shipping charge covers most UK Mainland addresses. Some addresses in the Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Islands will incur surcharges. We will contact you to discuss this before making any further charges.

Big Value Banners is in no way responsible for any delays in shipping including local delivery errors. We will make every effort to rectify the situation where feasible. Big Value Banners is not responsible for 3rd party shipping errors or damaged shipments.

Replacement for goods damaged in transit.

We are so sorry that your item hasn’t arrived in perfect condition.

Please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the delivery. We can then arrange for our courier to collect the damaged goods. Once we have received the damaged goods, we will then contact you with regards to sending you a replacement.

Weather DAMAGE.

Banners are a temporary form of signage, and as such are not designed to be left up in all weathers. Strong winds will obviously damage your banner, so to prolong the life of your banner we would recommend taking it down in strong winds or any other form of extreme weather. In any event a banner is only designed to be temporary and not a permanent form of signage. No guarantees are given or implied as to how long a banner will last, as there are too many variables involved such as how the banner is fixed, whether it is flat against a wall, in a particularly windy location etc. Big Value Banners use high quality, strong materials to give your banner the best chance of surviving the elements.

Delivery of Rigid Signage/Correx

GOODS RECEIVED FROM OUR COURIERS: Please take the time to examine the packaging for tears, punctures, corners damaged, etc. If any damage is visible or you are not 100% happy, insist on opening package to inspect consignment before signing. Goods received from couriers are signed for as received in good condition. Once the package has been signed for we are unable to claim for a damaged consignment.

Colour Setup and Production

All artwork or designs and images should be provided in CMYK format at either half size @ 300dpi or full size @ 150dpi. Big Value Banners is not responsible for any colour shift that occurs in conversions from RGB to CMYK colour mode, or for images printed as fuzzy, distorted or pixilated once a proof has been approved.

All of our products are digitally printed through a colour process called 4 colour CMYK. This process is far different from conventional litho printing and the results can be noticeable, the process produces a far greater colour spectrum or gamut superior to conventional print allowing you to see more subtle tones and many more colours. Our large format printers are calibrated to profiles for digitally printed media suitable for this process and if you need a specific colour, we will ask you to send us the pantone codes. Our printers will print the closest possible match to these codes but not in anyway is there colour matching like with conventional litho printing. Colours will not always print as they appear on your computer screen. All computer monitors are calibrated differently so colours will often look different when printed.  All responsibility lies with the clients for failure to understand this process and files should only be submitted by those people who have a firm understanding of this process and at no time are we responsible for incorrectly saved files (should you require additional information please call us on 01939 291 825)

All banners will be eyeletted where BVB deem appropriate, unless you specify otherwise when placing your order. We will always try to finish the banners to your measurements.

Measurements

Whilst we make every effort to supply prints at the exact size ordered, certain processes involved in Production can sometimes make it very difficult to be precise. Final measurements may therefore vary slightly from those ordered.

Design Proof

By approving the design proof, you agree that spelling, content and layout are correct. Please make sure you have zoomed in 100% (or viewed at ‘actual size’) to check you are happy with the quality. We cannot make any changes once the order has been placed.

Cancellations

Big Value Banners will be happy to help you cancel your order prior to printing, although cancellation charges may apply depending on the stage of the order.

If artwork has been prepared by Big Value Banners, we reserve the right to charge £50 artwork set up fees for cancelled orders.

Big Value Banners reserves the right to cancel any order and will give full refunds as appropriate.

Big Value Banners reserves the right charge a minimum a width of 2 feet. This is because of the amount of material wastage incurred on very narrow prints.
